Bengaluru, May 30, 2025: Anjani Kumar has been appointed Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO) by Ather Energy Limited. Having worked in the automotive, technology, logistics, pharmaceutical, and BFSI sectors for more than 24 years, Anjani brings a wealth of experience in digital transformation and IT leadership. IBM, Nissan, Cognisant, Strides Pharma, and Tata AIG are just a few of the Fortune 500 companies where he has held senior positions.

In order to support the company’s rapid growth and technological advancement, he will be leading teams in WebTech, IT & Security, MES, Business Intelligence, and Digital Engineering at Ather.
Speaking about his appointment, Executive Director and CTO Swapnil Jain stated, “As Ather expands with more products and deeper software integration, the complexity increases.” In order to facilitate AI-led growth, Anjani’s experience across industries will be crucial in streamlining and fortifying our digital foundation.

Anjani has a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Rourkela and a PG in Marketing & Management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business (USA).
