From apparel and garments for the general public, Rajasthan-based $1.2 billion LNJ Bhilwara Group is planning to expand into the electric vehicle sector.
In association with Replus Engitech, the group is reported to be constructing a 1 GWh battery factory in Pune, with plans to touch 5 GWh by 2026.
From textiles, graphite, and energy generation, the group’s new firm will be its fourth pillar, looking at generating at least 15 per cent of its income.
