MUMBAI, May 8, 2025: Rilox EV, a manufacturer of electric two-wheelers, has announced a multi-year collaboration with Hala Mobility, India’s pioneering multi-modal vehicle-sharing platform, to deploy 20,900 electric two-wheelers to support the gig economy in the long run.
Under this partnership, Rilox EV intends to introduce approximately 400 units of its low-speed Spark Elite model on the Hala platform each month.
Srikanth Reddy, Hala Mobility’s Founder and CEO, emphasised that the partnership is based on shared values and a long-term vision, citing Rilox EV’s engineering capabilities and service support as critical components of the collaboration, which meets the cost and scalability requirements of Hala’s expanding electric mobility network.
Avesh Memon, Founder and CEO of Rilox EV, described the partnership as a significant step forward in the company’s presence in the electric vehicle sector, noting ongoing discussions with other companies about potential collaborations in Rilox’s loader vehicle segment.
Other company officials stated that their agreement represents a collaborative effort to strengthen India’s electric mobility ecosystem by combining Rilox EV’s manufacturing expertise with Hala Mobility’s operational and technological frameworks.
In addition, the company plans to introduce high-speed, fleet-optimized variants tailored for the demands of high-usage urban transportation, addressing the mobility needs of gig economy workers, daily commuters, and fleet operators, while providing a blend of durability, affordability, and performance that meets operational requirements.
